Student Right to Know

The intent of the Higher Education Opportunity Act - 2008 (HEOA) is to provide consumers (prospective students, current students, parents, etc.) with comparable information from all institutions of higher education.  HEOA's required disclosures are mandated to give consumers easy access to information that can be used in making sound decisions about their education.

Student Body Diversity Fall 2022

As a part of the recently revised Higher Education Opportunity Act (2008), institutions must now provide information about the student body diversity, including the percentage of enrolled students in the following categories:

Enrollment Status

  • Full-time = 2,797 (38.2%) 
  • Part-time = 4,523 (61.8%)

  • Male = 3,564 (48.7%) 
  • Female = 3,756 (51.3%)

  • U.S. Nonresident = 43 (0.6%) 
  • Hispanic/Latino = 389 (5.3%) 
  • American Indian or Alaska Native = 102 (1.4%)

Retention Rates 

As a part of the recently revised Higher Education Opportunity Act (2008), institutions must make available the retention rate of certificate - or degree-seeking, first-time undergraduate students as reported to IPEDS.

  • Fall 2021 First-time, Full-time, degree seeking Students = 1,190
  • Retained as of Fall 2022 = 603
  • Retention Rate = 50.7%
