Nine students from East Syracuse Minoa High School and 8 students from Solvay High School received their high school diplomas and Onondaga Community College associate degrees during graduation ceremonies earlier this month. The degrees were earned concurrently as part of an Early College High School program, which was funded by a grant from the New York State Education Department.

East Syracuse Minoa's graduation ceremony was held Friday June 24 in the SRC Arena on the OCC campus. Solvay's graduation ceremony was held June 25 in the high school auditorium. OCC President Dr. Casey Crabill was on stage at both ceremonies to present the 17 students their college degrees after they received their high school diplomas. All of the degrees were in either Mathematics & Science, Computer Science, or Engineering Science.
