Onondaga Community College's Women's Basketball team advanced to the 12-team NJCAA National Tournament for the third consecutive year, and finished 6th in the nation. "It was an exciting year! We took a group of strangers back in August and created a family. With only 4 returners and 14 newcomers, we had no idea what we could accomplish. We realized quickly we could be a special team," said Head Coach Kelly Seibt.
While compiling a 29-and-4 overall record, the Lazers won their conference and regional tournaments. "We accomplished 2 out of the 3 goals we set at the beginning of the season, the third being National Champions. We created many memories that I hope these student-athletes will remember for the rest of their lives. With the bulk of our roster returning next season, I truly believe we will get back to Minnesota for another shot at a National Championship."
Congratulations to the Lazers on an outstanding season!
