I. Policy Statement

The safe use of bicycles, rollerblades, roller skates, skateboards, electric personal assistive mobility devices (also known as swagways or hoverboards) and scooters for means of transportation is permitted on campus roadways and designated bicycle paths. The use of bicycles, rollerblades, roller skates,skateboards electric personal assistive mobility devices (also known as swagways or hoverboards) and scooters in other locations on campus including, but not limited to, pedestrian walkways is strictly prohibited.

II. Reason for Policy

This policy is intended to promote the safety of the College community.

III. Applicability of the Policy

All members of the College community should be familiar with this policy.
