Student Spotlight: Luke Willis

Family tragedy inspired Luke's career goals. When he was 9 years old his mother was the victim of a homicide. The killer was never found. "I'm a person who loves to learn. As I grew up, I kept finding out things about my mom's case I just didn't understand."

Luke graduated from Baldwinsville High School in 2018 and came to OCC to pursue a Criminal Justice degree. "OCC was the right choice for me. It was close to home, affordable, and I loved my professors." Luke served as a member of Campus Safety's Student Patrol and was named the top student in the Criminal Justice degree program.

He plans to continue his education while serving as a Reserve in the United States Marine Corps. His goal is to specialize in Behavioral Analysis for the FBI.
